The Trials of our Faith

For those of you who find that the trials have increased...    YOU are a serious Christian if you are still following Christ with all the trials and tribulations the family of God is experiencing lately.  We have found ourselves and many others who have GREAT faith in the works of the Lord Jesus to be in a long season of what I have begun to referred to as "The Trials of Our Faith".   In the camp of God, those who have been called as leaders, usually go through many trials "first"; in order to help prepare and stand with the Body of Christ for their battles.  (I Corinthians 15:46)

Lately, the warfare in every Christian home and camp/church has increased to a sometimes seemingly "unbearable" degree.   I have a friend who is suffering unjustly accused of a crime he did not commit, another who is the mother of four wonderful children and wife of a good Christian man who is currently struggling with cancer that the doctors have given up on; others who are in a battle to keep their homes, or jobs.... and the story goes on and on.   I have myself had many trials this year that are just unfathomable... and each time I have taken a friend or my family before the Lord... no matter what the circumstances... I have heard the same thing... "It is a Trial of our Faith."  (1^st Peter 1:7)  

Christianity in America is going through a strong testing... BECAUSE... God doesn't want any of us to lose our Faith in difficult times.  Our faith should and MUST be becoming strengthened and more resolved than ever during this difficult season. I wish I could tell you that everything will be alright and will return to normal... however, that is not what is on the horizon for us Christians in the natural.  We believe that the testing of our faith and the persevering of our resolve to follow Jesus, despite the difficulty, will only make us stronger and more resolved during the coming difficulties.  We have served HIM in the good times... now, we must be a strong witness in the difficult times, as many souls (a great end time harvest) will come to Jesus through YOUR witness and mine.  We are forerunners of the great end time harvest and we must be in great Faith of the works of Jesus as a witness to those who will seek our peace in Him.  (Mark 2:22)

It is so easy for us to live in the natural realm and not see the bigger picture of the supernatural wars going on for our souls and the souls of our loved ones. We are all.... made of flesh.  I as much as you and it is NOT our flesh that must rule those who are called by Christ (especially leaders) it is our spirit man or woman that must rule over the circumstances God allows to enter into our lives.  I say this quite frankly while gritting my teeth at my own weakness of reminding myself that it is my spirit and relationship with Jesus that must rule in these difficulties we are encountering.            (Phil 4:6-7)

I encourage you to try to mentally push aside the natural things you are dealing with and to press into worshiping the Lord and building yourself up with scripture that encourages you.  We are responsible for building ourselves up in our most holy faith.  We must press into the Lord and remember that if we die... we win... and if we live to fight another day... we win.  Our goal is to live FOREVER in the favor of our God and to become the BRIDE of CHRIST, living forever where there is NO TRIAL, NO SICKNESS, NO WEEPING...No tormenting devils.     (Phil 4:13 & 19)
